Welcome to the Sunrise. In this corner of space, your objective is to mine for resources, explore the vast unknown, and be who you want to be. Level up skills, upgrade your ships, trade goods and weaponry on the market, complete bounties and hunt pirates, or even start a coalition to take over the galaxy. The choice is yours in this expansive universe.

WASD: Move forward
Shift: Engage boost

Originally developed for Garry's Mod by The Maw, Sunrise was a gamemode always worth coming back to and playing into the early morning hours. Grinding away for hours and hauling a load back to the station, only to be greeted by an enemy player hiding at the next asteroid field. There was just something about the way the gamemode felt and played. It was nostalgic.

There were several different versions of the gamemode over time, yet the one I fondly remember was The Outer Edge, developed by Jagger. I loved the ship models, the Star-Warsy feel to them. The station area was also iconic and memorable.

To that note, this game is my attempt at recreating that version of Sunrise, slightly modified and hindered by the limits of my memory and a grainy 720p YouTube video I was able to find.
